This single malt was distilled in October 2008 at the Deanston Distillery in the Highland region of Scotland. It was initially filled into a refill barrel, before being re-racked into a 2nd fill ex-Staoisha Oloroso Quarter cask to finish maturation. 

Bottled by Woodrow's of Edinburgh at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Nose

Pineapple and orchard fruits, with hints of tobacco and charred wood.

Palate

Exceptionally waxy, with crème brûlée, lemon meringue, peaches, lychee and cigar smoke.

Finish

Lingering smoke, softened by white chocolate and a touch of nutmeg.
