This single malt was distilled in 2016 at the Dalmunach Distillery, known for their light and fruity Speyside malt. This single cask release has been finished for 17 months in a 1st-fill Oloroso-seasoned Quarter Cask, which has added depth and a rich sherry influence, complementing the spirit’s naturally sweet and vibrant style. 

Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Gleann Mòr Spirits. 

Nose

Lemon sponge cake and powdered bonbons sit alongside thick vanilla custard and toffee cups. Delicate ginger spice adds intrigue, alongside strawberry bootlaces and hedgerow berries.

Palate

A fresh and lively arrival of mixed fruits - apples, pears, strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants. This is followed by deeper notes of burnt toffee, chocolate walnut brownies and gingerbread men.

Finish

Sustained and lingering on vivid fruitiness and a gradual shift towards citrus character.

The Dlmunach Distillery was named after a nearby pool on the river Spey. The works on construction of the distillery started in 2012 by demolishing the old Imperial Distillery. The new building, which was designed in an award-winning contemporary style with sustainability in mind, opened its doors in 2015.
