This single malt was distilled on the 8th of August 2016 at the Dalmunach Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was fully matured in a single refill bourbon barrel for 9 years, before being bottled on the 10th of January 2026 by Woodrow's of Edinburgh at natural cask strength and without chill-filtration. 

Nose

Light and fruity. Nots of Pear, apples, honey and fudge.

Palate

Slightly earthy and waxy, with notes of lemon, stewed apples and cinnamon.

Finish

Medium to long, with warming spices of star anise and nutmeg and a lingering zesty lemon.

The Dlmunach Distillery was named after a nearby pool on the river Spey. The works on construction of the distillery started in 2012 by demolishing the old Imperial Distillery. The new building, which was designed in an award-winning contemporary style with sustainability in mind, opened its doors in 2015.
