It was distilled in the Speyside Region of Scotland at the Dailuaine Distillery, known for its meaty, robust malt, and aged for 15 years, including a period of finishing in a 1st-fill Manzanilla Hogshead, creating an interesting combination of dried apricots, quince jelly and plive brine.
Bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Dailuaine Distillery was founded in 1852 by William MacKenzie near the village of Craigellachie in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was the first distillery to install a pagoda, which became a symbol of Scottish distilleries. Dailuaine is owned by Diageo and most of the produced liquid is used for blends, it is, however also a staple for independent bottlers. Amongst its fans, Dailuaine is known for its robust, full-bodied spirit with fruity, malty and spicy notes.
