This single malt was distilled on the 11th of February 2013 at the Dailuaine Distillery, known for its heavy Speyside malts. It was matured for 12 years in a single first-fill bourbon hogshead. 

Bottled on the 17th of November 2025 by Fragrant Drops at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Nose

Red appleskins, rhubarb and custard sweeties, sandalwood, jasmine, hay, marshmallow, salted caramel, raisin, ripe strawberries, cocoa.

Palate

Clear honey, pear drops, cola cubes, apricot, malt loaf and mace.

Finish

Milky coffee, lemon rind, sea salt, dark chocolate and samphire.

Dailuaine Distillery was founded in 1852 by William MacKenzie near the village of Craigellachie in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was the first distillery to install a pagoda, which became a symbol of Scottish distilleries. Dailuaine is owned by Diageo and most of the produced liquid is used for blends, it is, however also a staple for independent bottlers. Amongst its fans, Dailuaine is known for its robust, full-bodied spirit with fruity, malty and spicy notes.
