The Cairn distillery might not be ready to release its single malts right now, but its blended malts are a preview of what's to come. The distillery created a series of blends to mirror the flavours of the malt that is currently patiently resting in casks, waiting to be ready to bottle. 

The 25 year old is part of their core range. It has a sweet palate, hints of pepper, and candied undertones. 

Nose

Rum and raisin with brown sugar. Ripe fig and maple syrup with a hint of liquorice.

Palate

Raspberry and pistachio nut with apple and tangy orange peel.

Finish

Milk chocolate and oak.
