The present Clynelish was built in 1967, adjacent to the original distillery which operated since 1819. Over the years it became famous for the unique waxy mouthfeel, coastal minerality balanced with sweet fruit and gentle spice.

This 11 years old expression was distilled in December 2014 and matured in refill hogsheads, showcasing sweet, spicy and intensively rich flavours.

Bottled in August 2026 by Fruitful Spirits for their Ever Curious collection, at natural colour and no chill filtration. This first edition is Limited to 1000 bottles.

Clynelish sits on the coast at Brora in the north-east Highlands, founded in 1819 and modernised in 1967 beside the original site. It’s famous for producing a bright, waxy, coastal style of single malt — honeyed, lightly fruity, with a touch of sea breeze and gentle peat. That distinctive waxy texture makes it a favourite among whisky fans and an important component in high-end blends, while still standing out beautifully as a single malt in its own right.
