This single malt was distilled in 2014 at the Caol Ila Distillery on the Isle of Islay. It was aged for 6 years and then re-racked into compact Rye Whiskey casks to create an ultimate balance to the fresh, smoky malt. 

It was bottled by Murray McDavid for their Benchmark Collection, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Smoky seaside, toffee apple, spice.

Palate

Fruity peat, salted caramel, nuts.

Finish

Oily, sweet oak, peppery malt.
