Campbeltown 10 Years Old Blended Malt Rare Find

ABV: 46.7% 70 cL

This blended malt was sourced primarily from a distillery located just north of Campbeltown’s Kinloch Park. Maturation in a refill hogshead allowed the region's distinctive coastal spirit to shire, creating a distinguished and characterful whisky with notes of dry wispy smoke, subtle liquorice and sweet malt cake. 

Bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Gleann Mòr Spirits. 

Nose

The nose is rich and inviting, earthy and moist, with the comforting aroma of freshly baked brioche and sweet hay. Notes of stewed apple and golden honey add balancing sweetness.

Palate

The palate is layered and intriguing, with dry, wispy smoke weaving through earthy tones and subtle liquorice. Oily richness coats the mouth, complemented by the comforting sweetness of malt cake.

Finish

Persistent with crisp green apples lingering alongside the warm, comforting sweetness of malty biscuits. Subtle hints of spice and gentle, integrated oak add depth, leaving a result in a particularly clean and coherent dram.
