This 15 year old unpeated Single Malt joins the iconic Still Series: Blacker Still, Redder Still and Golder Still. A trio of single malt Scotch Whiskies released between 2006 and 2008, the Still Series shone the spotlight on Bruichladdich's extensive cask inventory and experimental outlook, with each bottle named after the colour of its distinct cask maturation profile (Blacker Still matured in Oloroso sherry casks, Redder Still in Pomerol Bordeaux red wine casks and Golder Still in quality bourbon and American oak). 

This release has been distilled using a combination of Organic, Biodynamic and Bere barley varietals, with each cereal having a positive impact on the environment. It was fully matured in first-fill Bourbon - a cask type that frames the complexity of the whisky without ever overpowering it. 

Bottled by Bruichladdich Distillery, at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

The Bruichladdich name comes from the Scottish Gaelic 'Bruthach a' Chladaich', which means brae by the shore. The distillery was founded in 1881 by the Harvey Brothers. The distillery changed hands many times until 1994 when it was shut down as 'surplus to requirements’. It remained mothballed until December 2000, when it was purchased by private investors. It took nearly six months to resume the distillation, as Bruichladdich had never seen any modernisation efforts from the previous owners. In 2012, it was taken over by Remy Cointreau. Today, Bruichladdich produces three different styles of whisky: their classic unpeated under the name Bruichladdich, heavily seated port Charlotte and the world’s most peaty malt - Octomore.
