To celebrate three decades of whisky innovation, Murray McDavid has launched the Coastal Embrace Collection—a limited edition series of 28-year-old blended malt Scotch whiskies crafted to tribute Scotland’s coastal distilleries.
Chapter I of this limited series was aged in bourbon hogshead for 23 years before re-racking into a single French oak cask, which previously held cognac, resulting in elegant malt with notes of dried ginger, sultanas and apples.
It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
