This single malt was distilled in 2009 at the Blair Athol Distillery, located in the Highland region of Scotland. It was aged in a single hogshead and finished in a cask that previously held Pedro Ximenez Sherry. Bottled exclusively for our shop by Berry Bros. & Rudd at natural cask strength without chill filtration or artificial colouring.
The rich and malty character of Blair Athol shines through, generously layered with caramel, dried fruit and a medley of nuts. The Pedro Ximenez cask's influence introduces a buttery richness to the palate, leading to a finish of dried fruit and sultanas.
Only 275 bottles were produced.
