After spending its entire maturation in a single hogshead, it was selected and bottled by Finn Thomson on 19 May 2026. Bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.

Blair Athol Distillery was established in 1798, situated south of the scenic town of Pitlochry, by John Stewart and Robert Robertson. Initially, it was called Aldour, named after their water source. However, the distillery didn't see much success, and it was soon closed. In 1826, John Robertson reopened the distillery and renamed it Blair Athol. Since then, it has changed hands several times and is currently owned by Diageo. Blair Athol’s nutty and spicy malt is now at the heart of Bell's Blended Whisky.
