This single malt was distilled in 1994 at the Benrinnes Distillery in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was aged in a single first-fill sherry puncheon for 29 years, enhancing the robust and meaty newmake with notes of stewed raisins, raspberry jam and toasted hazelnuts. 

It was bottled at natural cask strength, wihtout chill-filtration or artificial colouring by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseur's choice collection. 

Nose

Orange peel and butterscotch.

Palate

Stewed raisins, raspberry jam with toasted hazelnuts and coca powder.

Finish

Lingering with spice and citrus.
