This single malt was distilled in 1997 at the Benrinnes Distillery in the Speyside region. It was aged for 27 years in a single refill hogshead. 

Bottled by Thompson Bros. at 51.9% ABV, at natural colour and no chill filtration. Limited to 170 bottles.

Nose

Rich honeyed malt with orange peel, salted caramels, dunnage, hessian and distant smoked meats.

Palate

Liquorice, turkish delights, almonds, green bell peppers and charred mango.

Finish

Fruity and funky, lasts quite a while.
