Tasty Drams presents 100ml of a single malt that was distilled in 2012 at the Benrinnes Distillery and aged in a Passito Di Caluso cask for 12 years. Passito Di Caluso is a sweet Italian dessert wine from the Piedmont region, produced in the same way since 500 BCE.
The liquid from the Benrinnes Distillery was a perfect candidate for maturing in such an active cask, as it does not get overwhelmed easily.
The sophistication and elegance of Italy meets the ruggedness of Scotland in an intense burst of flavour.
