This single malt was distilled on the 21st of November at the Ben Nevis Distillery, on the foot of the tallest mountain in the UK. It was aged for 13 years in a single hogshead, which previously held Recioto della Valpolicella - intense red wine from Italy. 

It was bottled by Alistair Walker for their Infrequent Flyer collection at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 


Nose

Concentrated. A fruit cocktail of clementines, peaches and strawberries, with a cameo from marinated raisins.

Palate

Apple and raisin strudel, with butterscotch and Muscovado sugar. A touch of red grapes. Underpinned by cinnamon spice.
