Auchroisk 7 Years Old Thunderstruck

ABV: 59.1% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in 2017 at the Auchroisk Distillery, known for its robust spirit. It was aged for 7 years in a single Oloroso Sherry cask, creating this striking, rich malt. 

It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

An un-ashamed sherry bomb. Oloroso sherry leaps out the glass chased by the cask strength tingle. Deep sticky toffee, Nutellla, brown sugar, leather and cigar box.

Palate

Mature at first; new leather, Christmas pudding and vanilla ice cream. A touch of water brings the caramel and toffee chocolate box to life.

Finish

Long tingling spice, chocolate and cinnamon Danish pastries.
