Ardnoch 5 Years Old Blended Malt

This blend was created by blending malts from Ardnamurchan and Dornoch Distilleries. The youngest malt in this blend is 5 years old and it's been aged in ex-Islay Quarter cask before bottling at 52.7% ABV, at natural colour and no chill filtration. 

Only 450 bottles produced.

Nose

Green banana, smoky beewax, sour plooms, nettles, yellow pepper, lemon sherbet, fresh mint and coriander leaf, gewurtztraminer. Musty & dusty.

Palate

Honeydew melon, salty flapjack, rich tea biscuits, orange skin, macadamias, orange bitters, humbugs, good texture.

Finish

Medium, slightly bitter cloying but in a good way
