This single malt was distilled in November 2019, using peated barley, at the Ardnamurchan Distillery, which takes its name from the Highland peninsula on which it is situated. It was aged for 5 years in a single first-fill Oloroso Sherry hogshead, before being bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Roasted coffee beans, tart cherry juice, earthy and leather pub jacket.

Palate

Spiced fruitcake, molasses, dark chocolate, medjool dates and blood orange.

Finish

Long, warming, assertive, smoky spiced ember.
