This single malt was distilled on the 2nd of December 2014 at the Ardmore distillery, using peated barley. It was aged for 11 years in a single refill ex-bourbon barrel. 

Bottled and bottled on the 19th of February 2026 by Fragrant Drops exclusively for Aberdeen Whisky Shop, at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

Nose

Summer fresh cut grass with subtle sweet campfire smoke.

Palate

Very creamy, followed by charred brioche bread, white chocolate and vanilla pods.

Finish

Long, with delicate chimney smoke lingering.

Ardmore distillery was founded by Adam Teacher, who decided that the family blending business needed its own supply of malt. The rural Aberdeenshire was the perfect spot, with an abundance of fresh water, a nearby peat source, barley fields and proximity to the train line. The Ardmore is one of the few East Coast distilleries that has never stopped using peat in its distillation process, combining gentle smoke with more fruity and floral notes associated with its region.
