Arbikie's first single malt, and its most complete expression of provenance yet. Odyssey barley grown on their own Angus fields, distilled at the farm in 2016 and matured a full ten years in ex-bourbon casks. Expect ripe peach and banana bread on the nose, brioche and apricot marmalade on the palate, finishing with creamy vanilla and orange blossom. Every stage - field to bottle - happened on the same estate. Just 1,000 bottles exist.

 

Nose

Ripe peach and banana bread sweetness from the bourbon casks, lifted by bright lemon sherbet, resting on a clean cereal backbone that speaks to the integrity of the malt.

Palate

A structured, invigorating mouthfeel opens into brioche bread sweetness, sharpened by lemon zest and deepened by apricott marmalade, with a gentle saltiness giving definition and a sense of place.

Finish

Creamy coconut and vanilla lead into floral orange blossom and vibrant spice, closing on a thread of minerality and lingering maltiness.
