This single malt from an undisclosed Highland distillery was aged for 18 years and matured in Oloroso sherry casks, showcasing peated notes balanced by sweet dried fruits.

Bottled by Thompson Bros. at natural colour and no chill filtration. 

 

Nose

Burnt caramel, lime oils, bread and butter pudding, dark chocolate crunchie, a recently smothered bonfire!

Palate

Fruit cake, dried papaya, charcoal, pipe tobacco & winter spice, soft tannins (black tea).

Finish

Earthy peat lingers, sweetness returns, wet sugarey shredded wheat, a gente cellar-esque funk.
