Traditionally Aberlour are famed for heavily sherried drams, though this single malt was approached differently. Matured solely in a bourbon hogshead (#3651) for over 33 years, this is incredibly unique both in terms of age and flavour profile. The result showcases the strength of Aberlour distillate.

Bottled at 42.4% ABV, at natural colour and no chill filtration. Limited to 192 bottles.

Nose

Lively scents of orange zest, salted caramel, poached plums, and ripe pears.

Palate

White, ripe fruits with a hint of vanilla, spice, and a little pepper. Malty notes also present.

Finish

Medium length, flavours of blood oranges that contribute slight dryness.
