This single malt was distilled in 2011 at the Glenburgie Distillery, located in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was first aged in a hogshead before re-racking into a single marsala cask for remainder of the 16 years of maturation. It was bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd for their Glens & Valleys collection at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 


Nose

Stewed peaches and apricots lead the charge on the nose of this delightful whisky, with a rich undercurrent of dried fruits and butterscotch.

Palate

After this initial impression, the Marsala cask's influence radiantly shines through, with dates, prunes, and crème brûlée apparent.

Finish

Elegantly long, with a sweetness reminiscent of caramelised nuts and dried roses.
