Lagavulin, located on the Isle of Islay, is well-known for its intense and smoky character. The 2022 release, bottled exclusively for the Islay Whisky Festival, maintains its renowned character. This limited release has been aged in refill hogsheads, before being reracked into Virgin American oak Casks, adding a touch of sweetness and spice to the malt.
