The Small batch release reveals the experimental side of Kilchoman. Each batch combines the rarest casks from the distillery. Release 5 combines bourbon and oloroso casks at 46% ABV and one Calvados cask at natural strength. The resulting malt has classic citrus notes and peat with layers of baked apples, fresh fruit and honey. Only 1260 bottles were bottled, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
