This rare bottling from Scapa Distillery was distilled in 2000, before being matured in 1st Fill ex American Bourbon Barrels for 12 years before being bottled in 2012. Bottled at natural cask strength of 55.1% ABV, without chill filtration. 

The Scapa distillery, established in 1885 in the Orkney Islands, produces a distinctive and subtle Island, malt whisky. 

PALATE:  Creamy butterscotch sweetness, dried fruits, and subtle orange hints. Round and full.
FINISH:  Easy finish with distinctive dryness. Good oak balance.
