This single malt from Caol Ila distillery, located on the picturesque isle of Islay was distilled in 2010. It was first aged in refill bourbon barrelS and finished in a Sassacaia Casks for one whole year. It was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail without chill filtration or artificial colouring for their Connoisseur's Choice collection. 

TASTING NOTES

NOSE Madjool date with cured meats and pineapple. 
PALATE Stewed red berry, demerara sugar and lemon zest. 
FINISH Spicy with citrus peel and bonfire embers.
