Founded in 1894 by John Morrison, Knockdhu distillery takes its name from the nearby Knockdu Hill, meaning "Black Hill" in Gaelic. For many decades, the distillery was a relatively unknown name in Speyside. The current owners have since brought its traditional style of whisky making to a new generation of connoisseurs with the AnCnoc single malt.

Only 312 Bottles were produced.

NOSE: Dry, nutty nose expanding with time in the glass. It shows almonds and walnuts before green fruits and banana bread notes appear.
PALATE: Equally complex meeting of fruits, wood spice and distillate-driven nuttiness, offering an excellent mouthfeel.
FINISH:  Tobacco dances across the finish, with a burst of citrus and some honeyed green fruits.
