This single malt was distilled in 2008 at the Blair Athol distillery, located in the Highland region of Scotland, south of Pitlochry and often described as a "gateway to the Highlands". It was aged for ten years in a single hogshead, resulting in complex yet subtle malt. 

TASTING NOTES 

NOSE Stewed apple with a touch of spice, a little vanilla, peach skins and some ground almonds.
PALATE Similar to the nose - fruits with a touch of spice and nuttiness.
FINISH A merest hint of smoke.
