Alistair Walker

Tamdhu 10 Years Old Infrequent Flyers

ABV: 57.9% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in 2013 at the Tamdhu Distillery, located in the village of Knockando in the Speyside Region of Scotland. It was finished in a single Pedro Ximenez Sherry, adding sweetness and notes of rich honeycomb, demerara sugar and dark toffee.

It was bottled by Alistair Walker at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring for his Infrequent Flyers Collection.

Nose

Initially earthy, almost savoury aromas, with balsamic notes, and then the fruit comes - raisins, apricots and baked apples.

Palate

Super sweet, with Demerara sugar, crème brûlée, molten dark brown toffee and rich honeycomb. This is complemented with semi-sweet dark chocolate and marinated sultanas. Pretty spicy to boot, with cinnamon and nutmeg.
