The Whisky Cellar
ABV: 51.5% 70 cL
This single malt was distilled in 2008 at the Inchgower Distillery just outside of Buckie in the Speyside region of Scotland. Initially matured in ex-bourbon hogshead, before being re-racked into a single barrel that previously held Banyuls - Fortified Frech Red Wine to complete its 16 years of maturation. The result is a whisky with notes of Bosc pear skins, rose water, black cherries, toffee, pink peppercorn and almond oil.
It was bottled by The Whisky Cellar for their Pintail Collection, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
Tax included.
