Soft and gently smoky, this single malt is crafted from lightly peated spirit. Aged in bourbon casks, then finished in Rioja red wine casks, this whisky united sweet notes of plums and cherries with hints of far-off bonfires to bring a new dimension to Glen Moray

This single malt was distilled on the 5th of March 2012, and aged for 11 years before bottling at cask strength of 58.8% ABV, and without chill filtration.

Nose

Subtle peat smoke entwines around aromas of toffee, fairground candy floss and orchard fruits.

Palate

Gentle bonfire hints lead on to soft suggestions of plums and cherries, followed by tannins, a subtle acidity and spice.

Finish

Long and lingering, as smoke floats over tobacco and more sweet stone fruits.
