Timorous Beastie 18 years old is a highland “vatted” malt. It was bottled without colouring or chill-filtration.
It has a gentle spice on the nose, which evolves into warming honey, vanilla and juicy barley. Its intricate palate shows similar flavours and later shows macerated dark fruit. The finish opens with cough drop spices, more of those dulcet flavours replicated from the palate, running to a bone dry finale.
