A wonderful single malt from Douglas Laing for their Old Particular series. This single malt was distilled in June 2008 and charged from a Refill Hogshead in August 2020. Only 430 bottles produced:
Nose: Early barley sugar then honey, gentle smoke and beach tones, with a hint of mint.
Palate: Wonderfully sweet with soft and subtle peat centre stage, and later vanilla toffee.
Finish: As duet as expected now with some citrus, more mint, mixed spices and fudge.
