The flavour of the smoke in Svensk Rök (Swedish smoke) is inspired by the old tradition of seasoning and preserving food by infusing it with juniper smoke.
|NOSE||Smoke, spiciness, oak, fruits and herbs. Notes of peat, juniper, toasted oak and vanilla followed by a smoky and spicy aroma with saltiness, minerals, tobacco leaves, light tariness. Arrak treats, pear fudge, ginger and vanilla.|
|PALATE||Peat, juniper, salt, definitively more smoky than what the nose is implying. A pleasant oaky spiciness with vanilla, toasted oak, pickled figs and pear fudge. The texture is medium-thick with oaky chewy notes.|
|FINISH||Spicy, smoky and oaky with notes of tar, tobacco leaves, bright notes of pickled figs and pear fudge.|
