Lum Reek is a blended malt of peated Islay and Speyside whiskies. The name derives from the traditional Scots saying ‘Lang may yer lum reek’, or ‘long may your chimney smoke’. A wish for a long, healthy life.
This small batch blended malt was matured in a combination of first-fill Bourbon, Oloroso, Virgin Oak and Red Wine casks at Glenallachie Distillery before being blended by Billy Walker and bottled at 46% abv.
