This single cask was distilled at the Bruichladdich Distillery on Islay. It was aged for 10 years in a Bourbon Barrel and bottled at cask strength by Berry Bros. & Rudd as part of their Summer Releases.
Aromas out of the glass: peat smoke, vanilla pods, camphor, cloves, damp wool and fireworks all come to mind. The palate is equally powerful with waves of fruit, spice and peat smoke all fighting for prominence. Flavours of bonfire ash, paraffin, lime juice and gingerbread all pop out.
