This single malt whisky was distilled at Tobermory Distillery in 2010 and aged for 11 years and bottled from a Virgin Oak Barrel. Bottled by Alistair Walker for Batch 7 of his Infrequent Flyers collection at natural cask strength.
Nose: Peat smoke and burning tyres. Iodine. Underlying marzipan. Smoked meats.
Palate: Abundant peaty, medicinal notes throughout. Very peppery, spicy and tingly. Sweeter elements too - salted caramel and vanilla pods.
Only 279 bottles were produced.
