This single malt whisky from Knockdhu Distillery was distilled in 2013 and has been aged for 10 years in a Pedro Ximénez Puncheon. Bottled at natural cask strength of 59.2% ABV, without chill filtration or artificial colouring.
Only 640 Bottles have been produced.
TASTING NOTES:
| NOSE: | A deep, earthy, leathery nose, with abundant fruit notes, specifically ripe red plums and cranberries. Burnt sugar and milk chocolate make cameo appearances. |
| PALATE: | As expected, the PX sherry influence is prominent; a sublime combination of stewed raisins and sultanas, chocolate liqueurs and treacle toffee, with both cinnamon and allspice dropping in for good measure. |
| FINISH: | Fruit cake, cinnamon, burnt sugar, and sherried oak. |
