Ichiro's Malt Mizunara Wood Reserve

Ichiro’s Malt Mizunara Wood Reserve is an incredibly complex pure malt whisky made from a variety of single malts that have been blended and then finished in Japanese Oak casks, known as Mizunara, which imparts a unique flavour profile and character to the liquid. 

The Mizunara casks give the whisky earthy notes of incense, rich sandalwood, and aloe woods, with a touch of white pepper and fresh citrus peels. On the palate there is a pleasing ginger note with fragrant wood spices and honey, finishing with dark chocolate and a subtle hint of smokene and finishing with stone fruits and warming wood spice.
