Glencadam Distillery was built in 1825, within the Royal Burgh of Brechin, where heritage, tradition and hand crafting combine to create an elegant East Highland Single Malt.
Glencadam Reserva de Porto Branco Single Malt has been created in small batches by the Master Distiller, who has carefully selected single malt matured in exceptional American ex-bourbon casks from the historic dunnage warehouses.
The single malt in these casks has then been expertly married then finished in White Port Barriques specially sourced from Portugal.
Glencandam Reserva de Porto Branco has been bottled at 46% ABV, at natural colour and is non-chill filtered.
TASTING NOTES:
| NOSE: | Tangy strawberries and stone fruits bound with Chantilly cream, buttery malt and citrus oils |
| PALATE: | Sweet layers of summer berries and baked apple mingled with golden raisins, raspberry jam and brandy snap biscuits. |
| FINISH: | White pepper and custard tarts fading into the cinder toffee and sandalwood linger. |
