This limited release single malt from Glenallachie Distillery was distilled in 2012 and aged for 9 years in a Peated Bourbon Barrel. The barrel was chosen by Billy Walker and it was bottled at natural cask strength without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. 

NOSE Layers of smoked pine nuts, ginger and cigar box, followed by heather honey, soft spice and burnt brown sugar.
PALATE  Lashings of butterscotch, ginger and toasted almonds, with delicate notes of caramelised sugar, dark chocolate and black pepper.

 

Only 254 bottles were produced.
