Subjected to extensive ageing without a ‘flor’ yeast layer, Oloroso, which roughly translates to ‘fragrant’, is the darkest dry Sherry style renowned for its pronounced nutty, dried fruit qualities, which have influenced the taste of this Single Malt Scotch Whisky and created a rich malt with notes of dried fruit and Christmas cake spice.
