Alistair Walker

Glen Spey 15 Years Old Infrequent Flyers

ABV: 54.8% 70 cL

This single malt was distilled in 2008 at the Glen Spey Distillery, located in Rothes, in the Speyside region of Scotland. It was aged for 15 years in a single Ruby Port Hogshead, which imparted fruity character and gentle spice, resulting in warming dram - a perfect autumnal dram.

It was bottled by Alistair Walker at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring for his Infrequent Flyers collection.

Nose

Lovely red wine notes. Tangy fruits - cranberries and peaches, with strawberry Hubba Bubba thrown in for good measure.

Palate

The ruby port cask certainly bears fruit, delivering an orchard-tastic experience of dried apricots, baked rhubarb pie and blood orange. All of which is complemented by almonds and Highland toffee. A warming dram, with a subtle, lingering hint of spice.
