This incredible 70-year-old single malt whisky was distilled on the 26th of January 1952 at Glen Grant Distillery, located in the Speyside Region of Scotland. It was aged in a single First-Fill Sherry Butt and bottled by Gordon and MacPhail at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee. 

TASTING NOTES

NOSE Notes of beeswax polish gove way to ripe fig aromas, followed by toffee, orange zest, aged leather, rum and raisin.
PALATE Stewed blackberry compote, sweet clementine and milk chocolate flavours are followed by a menthol undertone. 
FINISH Liong with a touch of smoke and a hint of pepper.  

 

Only 256 bottles were produced.
