This single malt was distilled at Deanston Distillery in the Highland region of Scotland in 2009. It was aged for 12 years and finished in Sauternes hogshead before bottling at natural cask strength by Alistair Walker for his Infrequent Flyers collection.
Baked fruits - apricot and raisins. Singed toffee and toasted oak.
Very rich - dessert style. Bountiful raisins and sultanas. Crème brûlée with butterscotch. Mixed spice and aniseed. Apricots dusted with brown sugar.
