Distilled and filled between November 2010 and the end of January 2011, the whisky matured on the upper level of Warehouse 2 before being bottled in June 2026 at Daftmill's traditional cask strength. It draws on a selection of seventeen first fill ex-bourbon barrels. The barley variety Publican used for this release was grown in the 43-acre field and harvested by John and Sandy on the 28th and 29th of August 2009. After harvest, the barley was dried and stored on the farm before being malted in Alloa during the summer of 2010.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe casks add depth, sweetness and texture whilst allowing that unmistakable Daftmill freshness to shine through.
