This single malt was distilled in April 2007 at Caol Ila distillery, located at the Isle of Islay and aged for 14 years in a refill hogshead. It was bottled at natural cask strength by Alistair Walker for his Infrequent Flyers Collection.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
An Islay steam room! Menthol and eucalyptus mingle with sweet cigar smoke.
PALATE
Sweet peat and phenols. Grated ginger and almond praline, with a touch of cracked black pepper.
